When my wife and I decided to sell our home of 38 years we were apprehensive and uncertain as to how to proceed. We had valuations from three different estate agents and we both decided with little hesitation to go with James Alexander. 

Ken's professionalism and extensive knowledge of the local area was backed up by an equally obvious enthusiasm for the task: he is a courteous and likeable man and he patiently took us through all the stages we might expect when selling our house.

Our faith in Ken was never tested in the weeks after we put the house on the market. He was readily accessible by phone and email and gave us shrewd advice whenever we needed it.

His manager is Caroline and she helped to arrange all the viewings, and then, once an offer had been accepted, nursed both us and our purchaser through to completion. She is a cheerful and reassuring voice at the end of the phone. I am guessing there are very few situations which Caroline has not encountered before and she coped with all potential glitches with equanimity.

I have no hesitation in recommending James Alexander to anyone contemplating selling their property; local knowledge, personal service, good people – what more could you want?
