"James Alexander is an estate agent i have used, for more than 20 years. They are honest and trustworthy agents who really care about their customers, thence why i have chosen to use them when dealing with properties. I met Ken is 1992 after asking for a valuation for my property with the view to sell. Ken gave me honest advice and although, i did not sell at this point, he was always willing to give me good advice and options available at the time and without any pressure. Approximately 10 years later when i called this agent again, he could still remember me! This agent is more than just a business trying to get money from commission and this is why, i have gone back to them again and again. I felt so comfortable with Ken, that i even asked him if he would mind viewing a property that i was interested in purchasing, and may i add, this was not a property sold by James Alexander but another estate agent (Haart), and he was so kind as he came along with me to give me his opinion, as i was a single parent and on my own and needed reassurance. Now how many people would do that? Caroline is someone i used in my most sale and purchase, and she also gives honest advice, which is most importantly what a customer wants, especially at those stressful times of buying, selling, and moving home. Caroline kept me updated along the way, which made the whole process so much easier. I would recommend this estate agents, over and over again as they are very genuine and most importantly, they really do care.

"Having decided to sell my house in Norbury, I spoke with several estate agents, including Ken of James Alexander. I unfortunately
made the mistake of going with another agent, mainly because they convinced me that they could sell my property at a much higher price and although their fees of 2.5% were much higher than James Alexander, I went with them because of their insistence that their valuation was achievable.
I am now extremely annoyed with this particular agent, because i ended up continually dropping the price and eventually selling the property at the same price as Ken had originally said should be the realistic valuation. In other words, i have sold the property at roughly the same price as Ken recommended, but i now have to pay the rival agent's extortionate fees.
I found that Ken was the only agent that i spoke to that was straight and honest with his professional advice and had the sale not gone through at the last moment, i would have re marketed it with him and only wish i had placed my property with him in the first place.
The way he dealt with me and my situation, even after i decided not to go with him initially, was exemplary and i would urge any prospective sellers not to listen to false promises from others and place your business with James Alexander, who will give you honest appraisals and your best interest will always be their priority.
